Everyone goes through times in their lives when they hit rock bottom and all hope seems lost.

For some people, this might mean dealing with the storms of life or simply managing day to day stress.

Yet for others, rock bottom may include battling a mental health disorder or an addiction.

However, even when things feel hopeless, God always provides a lifeline and a way out. When the storm rages around us, God is our anchor and our One True North. As you seek His wisdom for guidance, these simple, yet practical tips will also help you learn to find your way once again.

There are some issues for which it’s best to get professional help. If you or a loved one are dealing with addiction, attending a Christian detox and rehab clinic gives you the space and the help that you need to confront and work through the issues.

Finding a Christian counselor or rehab clinic can help you heal spiritually as well and point you to Jesus throughout your treatment.  Connecting with God in a fresh way is a powerful tool for combating temptation when it arises.

Change Your Perspective

Yet sometimes, a fresh and godly perspective will help you navigate through the storms of life.

Praying through how you look at life and asking God to guide your path is the first step to renewing your mind in Him.

Seek Scriptures for truth and set your mind on Christ, not your problems.  Sometimes, reading a Christian book, memorizing Scriptureice at the cross helps remind us that there is more to this life than meets the eye and keeps eternity in our heart., or even watching a Christian TED talk can focus your heart on the Lord and not your circumstances.
