But I didn’t always thrive in these areas of my life….

As a special-needs mom and wife of a two-time cancer survivor, I know what it’s like to wrestle with God in the darkness and struggle to grasp His purpose in the pain.

 Yet I also know that the Word of God brings hope, joy, and can restore a shattered soul, and what it’s like to rely on God for my next breath.

Honestly....

There was a time when my Bible sat untouched and I remained prayerless and disconnected from God.

There are times when I struggle to parent my strong -willed children and come to terms with who they are.

There was a time when I was drowning in clutter and my bathroom resembled a moldy, science experiment.

There was a time I battled food addiction and couldn’t control myself around a bag of Cheetos.

But God changed my story (and He can change YOURS!)

But God…. He lovingly restored my brokenness and broke the chains that held me captive for so long. 

​Don’t get me wrong.  

I am still a work in progress and stumble and fall often.  But when I do, He dusts me off and gives me the strength and courage to show up and live each day.
