SaturdaySoireeBlogParty_Button

TGIF, my friends!  As I write this, I have a case of the yawns from heading back to work this week.  It was such a blessing to see old friends and to catch up with their lives, just as I count it a blessing to hear from YOU each weekend at the Saturday Soiree Blog Party!  I truly feel like I am gathering with old friends here every weekend and want to thank each of you who share your blog posts and those who stop by for a ray of sunshine.  THANK YOU for making Saturday Soiree Blog Party such a wonderful place of inspiration, encouragement and an overall joyful place to be! My life is richer from listening to your stories of hope, inspired by your projects and my waist line a little thicker from your delicious recipes.

Week in Review

This week was a busy here at Faith Along the Way!  Monday, I introduced you to some favorite blogs through the Behind the Scenes Writing Tour and Blog Hop.  I hope you’ve had a chance visit Life’s Little Projects and Considering Grace.  If not, be sure to drop in on these two amazing ladies!

I also encouraged parents to join the 30 Day Prayer Challenge as we cover our child’s new school year in prayer.  If not, it’s not too late to join and be sure to grab your free printable prayer calendar for a helpful guide.

As a veteran teacher, I’ve been doling out advice on school success for 13 years now, and revealed my top tips on 20 Strategies for a Successful School Year. The post also featured a few inspired ideas for homework stations through my Pinterest board, Homework Stations and how to discover your child’s learning style with the Learning Style board. Check them out as your children prepare for a year of new beginnings.

Printable

This week’s printable is an encouraging addition to any homework station and is the perfect way to remind students why they are working hard and to do their best.
